Responsible Usage Tips
Before considering how to dispose of a used battery, it is essential to follow best practices to extend its lifespan. For example, we recommend avoiding storing batteries for more than a few days at 0% charge and minimizing the occurrence of fully discharging them. All these recommendations are documented in the operation manual provided to the customer.
Additionally, Blue Solutions implements a systematic diagnostic process for used batteries to determine if they can be repaired or remanufactured whenever possible. This process helps reduce the amount of waste and consequently diminishes the environmental impact.
User Role in Collection
Blue Solutions has established an efficient collection system in collaboration with its customers. We are committed to retrieving used batteries to ensure they are properly managed and to prevent risks of illegal dumping. This approach enhances responsible end-of-life handling of batteries.
Health, Environmental, and Safety Impacts
Batteries may contain substances hazardous to health and the environment. To prevent these substances from leaking into nature and causing harmful consequences, do not dispose of batteries in municipal trash bins or abandon them irresponsibly.
Safety Guidelines
During the management of used batteries, customers are encouraged to refer to the user manual provided at the time of purchase, which outlines safe practices for handling batteries at the end of their life cycle.
